WTF jeep

Why in the hell did jeep decide to put 2 torx bolts in the top positions on the transmission to block holes. Who in the hell else actually has one of those torq sockets that hasent put knuckle studs in a yota solid front axle. Damn Im glad I wheel a yota. Rant off

IIRC, it's not a torx, but is a star. I had to buy a set a while back to work on my Jeeps. Do you need to borrow them?

a 12 point will fit, but that's why they end up stripped. i have never stripped one, i think they are great bolts,when you use the right socket.

It is an inverted asshole bolt. FYI, as I mentioned earlier, the same socket that marlin crawler sells for their knuckle studs fits this inverted asshole bolt.
