xj 231 to my yj????

My speedo is different along with some other things and it is impossible to find a yj 231 it seems. Any help with the parts I need for this to work in my 92? The tcase I have now from the xj is a 92 as well. Bolting it in is done but the rest is not right

Can you not take the parts off your YJ 231 and put on the XJ and make it work.

Besides the speedo connection, possibly the tailshaft, but it will work and the shift lever faces up instead of down. All I can think of. I have interchanged models before without issues. What problems are you running in to?

The speedo and I think something with the tailshaft mainly...and needing a shifter. I dont have a yj 231 or this wouldnt be a big deal. This is all I need to get this back on the road

We put an XJ 231 w/SYE in our YJ a few months ago...everthing seemed to work fine

I have the t-case(231) that came out of the YJ (1994) but no shift linkage.
