Im in need of some longer brake lines for my xj. Ive heard that stock YJ lines will work for a little bit longer lines. The jeeps only got a 3 inch lift on it and the stock lines baarely get tight at full droop so an extra inch or so is all i really need. If the YJ lines dont work where can I get a set from for a decent price? Id prefer to get them locally so i can have them before this weekend. I dont want stainless or anything like that because Im probley going to be going too a seven inch lift in the future and im going with stainless lines then.
Thanks Yall

If your lines are in good shape, you could just relocate the bracket down about an inch or 2. There's a metal clip that joins the hard line to the rubber line inside the front fender. You can drill another hole & screw it back in lower to get a couple more inches out of your stock lines. Since you've only got 3" you may be able to get away with that.

But...
If you need to replace 'em, MADXJ lists these:
Rear: Raybestos part number BH38845
Front: Raybestos part number: BH380346

Let me know how that works, because I need some new lines in the rear of mine, and might just replace 'em all around.

As Kilby said, relocate the front line mount.
Another option is to buy the extended braided brake lines now and have whomever you buy your kit from delete thier lines. :smokin:

I don't know what NAPA sells (Raybestos or not). Just make sure you get 1995 YJ lines - earlier ones (up until what year, I don't remember) weren't any longer. If I remember, less then $30 at NAPA. For that price, get 'em - no sense in worrying about your brakelines.
