XJ broken motor mounts

Friend's DD '95 xj lost some motor mounts today, I haven't looked at it but over the phone as he described it, they're snapped off flush or even countersunk...

Anyone dealt with this before? Doesn't sound like there's enough to weld a nut to the head of the shank or enough room to fit a drill and easy-out in there (maybe take off airbox and oil filter assembly dealie?). I'm at work now and just thought I'd put this up to see if any of the people wiser than me had any good ideas.

Thanks in advance, could use some advice.
 
Punch them out and replace them? I must be missing something.

The bolts are stuck in the engine block, not in the bushings. I was at work when I made my first post and didn't manage to make any of it really clear, thanks for looking though.

Think I've got some ideas, we'll try 'em out tomorrow.
