XJ D35 & ZJ D35 ???

I found a set of 4.11XJ axles at the junk yard and want to put them my ZJ. I think the front is just a swap? But the rear is going to be the bear. Can I just take the the gears out and put them in the ZJ axle? JZ has C clips and the XJ does not.
Any info would help out alot.

short answer, No.

But if you can swap gears properly, the skills needed to swap brackets are far lesser in my opinion. i would possibly consider swapping all of the zj brackets onto the xj axle depending on how tight the budget is.
