xj dana 30 lockout hub swap

the hub bearing in my dana 30 are wearing out and to change them i have to get a whole new hub for round $135 a piece. how hard and expensive is it to just change them out for lockout hubs?

Warn is the only one that I know of that sells a lockout conversion kit for the XJ 30. It runs somewhere around $1300. No that is not a typo. Just swap in a D44 or I have a complete 3.55 non disconnect axle for sale with good brakes and bearings.

wow! that sucks. i might just do the stock replacements then! i guess it'll just be a air locker in the front for me then.

I know a couple of people who had hub conversions on d30s. If you wheel it you will get tired of breaking hubs every time you go anyhow.

from my expierence, it is just as cheap to put a new front under the thing. d-30 is +/-$200 and can be swaped in hours.

I'd put a d44 in it before I dropped that much coin on a ARB.

try Napa. the hub there only costed me $75. theres a mile marker lock out kit but its $800-900. been waiting for a JY swap for the lockouts but none have been found/ created.
