Xj rear spring flip

Quick question, I know some of ya'll on here have flipped your rear leafs around on your xj to gain more wheelbase. Does the driveshaft have to be lengthened to handle this, or will it still be ok?

yes, are you planning on trying to run the stock shaft? im not sure on exactly the amount of wheelbase that flipping the springs adds, but it has got to be at least 8-10 inches, and the stock slip yoke is only around 5 inches long, so it obviously wont work

104" is the PERFECT wheelbase... IMHO!

I wasnt sure on the difference flipping the spring around would be. And for why? That way we can trim more of the fender out since the rear door gets in the way but if the axle were further back then it wouldn't be as much in the way when we went to trim.
