Well I bent my tie-rod in URE, so I am looking for an upgrade, I found that Currie offers a upgraded version but it is still the same Y link deal. And I found the over the knuckle type from Rusty's, but I am not sure which is better I have heard nothing but bad things about the Y link type, so my question, is it a waste of money to buy an upgraded version of the Y link design? Should I just save up a bit more and get the over the knuckle type?

Mine has an upgraded tie rod with the stock drag link. I've already bent the stock drag link. Replaced it with another stock from Oreilly. IMO, if you're going to spend money on upgrades then don't spend it on the Y link. The tie rod will hold up but the drag link is going to bend. It's just a bad design. Over the knuckle or bust. I think a couple other companies make OTK kits, but I haven't heard anything bad about the Rusty's kit either.

Look at rugged ridge stuff, i have it on my dana 30 in my s10 sas and its beefy as hell.

Built this for mine due to bending tie rods and drag links.

Cost is about the same as a bolt on.

Thats one beefy tierod, thanks for all the help guys, I think for now I am just going to replace my tierod with a hd one, and save for the complete OTK kit.
