I bought a yj master cylinder and brake booster to swap in my cj, but brake lines are on opposite side of master cylinder. Do I need to redo the lines or can I use the booster and cj master cylinder?

What is the advantage the YJ booster offers over a CJ booster?

I guess I missed something, my boosted was like $30 from AA...how cheap is the YJ

use the Yj setup, go to Napa and get 2 adapters to connect the CJ brake lines to the YJ master cylinder, you should have plenty of coiled brake line to move the lines to the opposite side for the YJ master

BUT!, You didnt get the cj bracketry with it, just a bare booster. That is where all the expense comes in. Sometimes they can be hard to find.
This is true.
I had one that was being replaced, so the bare booster was all I needed
