yj leaf springs

which springs to use to get the most length in the wheelbase the way it sits now 37'' h1's 14 bolt ff corp 10 in front i need as much length as i can get and sit low.so which leafs to use and what do they come off of. almost forgot it has what apears to be a 3'' leaf on it now .they have got to go.

you SOA?? XJ rear springs net about 5" stretch..... and sit pretty low.

what year and could they be used front and rear. yes its soa really tall and short.

i got mine outta a late 90's xj..... this is the best picture of how it sits right now..... with 40" tires..... the rear leaves are flat

are you wanting to use the stock spring mounts, or are you going to weld on new brackets?

if new brackets; XJ rears, toyota rears, and dakota rears are good choices...

if i have to relocate the brackets or install new ones i'll do what ever will give me the most length.

80's g-wagon fronts will bolt in the front and rear and give you about 2.5"s

darts junk after the spring swap, front and rear.

looks like i'm off to go leaf spring shopping. what's the deal with the springs are the indexing pin in the spring off center or is the spring just shorter all around.

the xj springs are longer, but the waggy springs have an offset pin.

so the waggy springs won't stick out the back as far as the xj springs any body know how the yota leafs are set up.

xj, yota, and dakota rears are all longer and offset center pin... if you use any of these 3 though, you will probly need to add some other leafs to stiffen it up...
