OK, I am helping out a friend fix his YJ. He has installed a 3.5" Fab-Tech lift and installed a slip yoke eliminator kit and a double carden CV style rear shaft. His t-case has been lowered 2" and he gets a lot of vibration in his first three gears. If he raises the t-case back to the stock position he gets a violent banging noise. He was told that when he bought the slip yoke eliminator kit that he could move his t-case back to the stock position. He is running stock shackles and no spring wedges. My guess is he needs to either go to a longer shackle to increase the pinion height or wedge the springs. Anyone of you Jeep gurus willing to give a Zuk owner's buddy a hand? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Did he turn his pinion up to point at the t-case output shaft? It needs to look like one of these, he can't play mix and match.
