I just finished up the SOA lift. When I gas on it the jeep pulls left and when I let off it darts right. This happens about 20 mph and up. Any suggestions to fix this? I have about 6" of lift.(It does have a drop pitman arm.)
Thanks
Guy

Sounds like axle wrap.

the darting is caused by your draglink being at to steep of a angle , i had that problem for a while. you have a coulpe of options, first check your draglink ends, if you can weld and do math then you can make a z shaped draglink which will help with that or you can switch to a high steer setup. i would also check the ball joints for loseness and if it is a stock dana 30 id also check the automatic hubs to see if they are worn out, just my $.02

High steer is the best option in my opinion to fix this problem. Lots of folks have similar trouble after going SOA on a Jeep. Some folks never have any trouble but I believe if you are going to fix it then do it right the first time.

It's called bumpsteer. I read ur sig full of mods and you say 6" of lift. Bumpsteer is the result of all that work and no steering correction. Some type of over-the-spring/knuckle whatever heepers call them is the best option. I ended up with a combo of drop pitman arm and OTT steering (Over The Top)

Probably a mixture of BOTH...STEEP drag link and detroit...ask me how I know...

My draglink is STEEP and have a detroit and have same issues...hate it! Be super careful and if you dont have one, put on a steering stabilizer it will help some.

I am also putting a ram assist, but again those are masking the real issue which is the high angled drag link. Hi steer will fix this... $$$

I put an AAL(1.5") kit in last week and reinstalled the sway bay with disconnects. That helped a lot but it's still noticeable. I think I'm going to check into the high steer set up and see if that helps.
Thanks

Does anyone make ball joints with some drom in them?

check free stuff first

Some free stuff to check:
tighten all the u-bolts and center pins. We did see a broken center pin before, very scary to drive.
look closely at the spring packs for problems
Are the track bars removed?
Of course we are assuming the perchs in the front were welded on with the right caster and pinion angle.
Turn steering back and forth with somebody watching for loose stuff
