Just went this weekend with the grandkids. If you have young children, this place is the bomb. It is super clean, sites are all great and there must be over 150 cabins available for rent as well if you don’t camp. Restuarant, snack bar, store, full service bar, all roads black top, tram service all day, mini golf, gem mining, small lake, large pool and water park. By the end of the day, after supper, kids didn’t last 15 minutes before they were out! It is right off of 226 between Shelby and Marion, NC.

Oh man...I had no idea these things were still around, or even a national thing. Some of my best memories as a kid was when my grandparents would take me camping at the one in Caledonia, Wisconsin.

I've been to this one and they do have plenty to do and the kids loved it. Theres also a yogi bear in cherokee thats right up on the river but thats pretty much there is all to do at that one.

Went to one up in Cherokee and it was top notch for kids. Might take munchkin here.

There is also a good Yogi Bear in Tabor City. Asheboro just finished one that is getting good reviews as well

Man, I went to Tabor City when they just finished the splash pad and that place was miserable in July. Of course that was about 3 years ago and that scarred me and the wife so i doubt we ever go back there.

came here last Halloween and actually here now. Great place for the youngins.
You are 5 minutes from the house. Need any jeep parts...lol
