i've finally installed my air ,york 10 out of an old mustang. the question I have is, I keep hearing that, there is a resevoiron the york 10 to keep oil on the cam? or piston?. is it the bolt on the passenger side? and if it is what type of lubricant? and how much?.........for anybody thinking about this setup I am very impressed with it . I fab'd a 4-6 gallon front bumper/stinger/2"receiver/air tank. also a 10-11 gallon rear bumper/2" receiver/air tank( scrapped tire carrier, weight issues[running kevlar belted radial IROK'S, spare doesn't seem to be an issue]).run a perimeter 350 psi hose setup thru both sides of the frame. pump on passenger side. applications on the driver.more air than i know what to do with. I am considering a throttle lock and attempt to push my plasma with. b4 I push that old worn compressorI need to p.m. it thx.....scratch....... ahhhh

Yes there is. there is a bolt on the flat side that seems to be there for nothing. That's your fill hole. I use 30w in mine. Here's a good link.

You will also find a mod for keeping the oil out of your line. You will want to do this if you want to run a plasma off of it.

I have also heard and read of people running slick 50 through it, and then draining it, and running it dry. I have not done this, and have seen minimal loss of lub in mine.

In that writeup it also shows how to make a dipstick for checking the oil leval. I have that same book about the york compresors somewhere at the shop.
