I had posted A thread, any jeepers in Clover S.C.? A lot of local wheelers have been replying, Thanks. We have been trying to organize A get together, At Sonic's in York, S.C. Tried to set A date for April 26th, or 27th. Seems A few wont be able to make that date. So how about tomorrow, April 20th, at around 4PM. weather permitting. I figure if we get 4, or 5, of us that can make it, we should go ahead, & get the first one in the record books. While we're there, we can see (1) if the Owners have any problems, with us showing up, (2) how often we could meet there,(3) what the maximum number of vehicles would be allowed.(4) how long we can hang for. Please try to post back, let me know if you can make it. It works for me any weekend, as far as I know, so if not tomorrow than whenever we get to it is cool!:driver: Oh and this is not A jeep only event, only requirements, you like to consume fast food, and talk about four wheeling. Bringing wife, kids, friends, or even A hitch-hiker you picked up on the way, is no problem. (more customers for Sonic's)

I would be there....

As long as we dont come in dripping mud, the owners have no beef. At that point we are customers, as long as everyone buys some grub, or a shake or at least a drink or something there really is no conversation to have....

I can make depending pm the AAU basketball schedule # 2 son is playing at the High school this weekend

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it Sunday.

Sorry to hear that NCJ, maybe next time, thinking 2 weeks?. Please post up, & let us know the "Baby" news, poppa-2B!

Thanks...I'll try to make it to one of these gatherings. :)

I'll come by...I get off work at 3:30

I should be there since the AAU team lost they won't play tomorrow

Everybody showing up with their rigs? I normally trailer mine. I wonder if I'll get pulled driving mine over. No windshield and a bunch of tube. :driver: Sonic is probably close to 6 or 7 miles from my house. I might just drive my pickup.

Think I can get away with driving this over?

Just wear a motorcycle helmet to keep the grit out of your teeth. ;) By the way, I might just pull up in this. Check out the crazy flex. ;)

LOL, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I do have to take in to account that this is the country though. I might pass a John Deer tractor on the way over.

Drive it on the shoulder, if you have to!

Dang Webb, that's quite A setup you got there. It's like the whole reason, I wanted to do this thing. I'm A welder/fitter, & I'm looking for Ideas for my heep, to do in the future. Now don't get A ticket, just for me, but if you bring it I will try not to drool on it! Al kidding aside, I wanted to do this, so I could make some friends that have the same interests as I do! I'll be bringing mine, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly legal.

Nice rig!

Did the Jeep in the background pull you out? Hey it doesn't matter how you get there, just hope you can make it! You don't have to show up with your real rig, if another mode of transportation is more convenient.

I think I will try to bring both of mine. I will let # 1 son drive one.

cool, i need to talk to him (#1 son) anyways...hey, does he have a name? LOL.

see you guys there at 4, or might get there a little early since i can't stay for long.

Flint

1st York S.C. cruise in, in the record books!

Had A great time, we all hung out for A bit, & talked about our rigs, & wheeling spots. Good to finally meet some nice folks, who have an interest in wheeling,( judging by the rigs that showed up, they have more interest that I currently have) I was truly inspired. First time at A Sonic's, & the burgers are pretty good. I think that Yellowjeep, (Flint) discussed the most important thing. We need to get together, & convince the great state of South Carolina, to set aside A few places, statewide, for us to go do our thing. He has been working on this subject, for some time now. He has made contact with the proper authorities, & they don't seem to be taking him seriously. Any S.C. residents, on this board, who are getting tired of driving 2 or 3 hours, to wheel legally, should be quite interested in this matter. Lets get behind Flint, & show these people there are more than just A couple of folks who like to offroad in something A little bigger that A quad bike, or two wheeler. These kind of things don't magically happen, they have to be pushed until someone gives. I'll bet there are enough wheelers in this state, to make 'em notice. We just need to figure out how to do it. Oh one more thing, 99ncxj, Wranglin101, have been inviting people to wheel on their land. This is an incredibly cool act of kindness on their part. I know y'all don't have tons of extra time, but anything we can do to help build/groom their trails, would make them very happy (I assume). I'm gonna be pitching in, whenever I can.

Noooo...I was goofin' around with the Escort pic. That car died a while ago too. It was a DD but threw a rod 2 miles down the road from my house.
