Zf to 94 5.0

I have a cutlass and am put a 94 Ford 5.0 in it will a zf trans bolt up to the mustang motor

I said that wrong I'm putting a 94 mustang motor in my cutlass and want to know if a 94 f350 trans will work on that engine the truck has a 351w and is 2we

Isn't the 351 a small block Ford motor? I know the 5.0 is.

Trace bell housing with paper/cardboard and lay it against the back of the motor...

Just curious, why join up to ask on a 4x4 forum in NC?

The zf comes from a truck and I think its better to have ma

A small block ZF should bolt behind any thing with a SBF bell housing. (300-302-351) not sure it'll fit in a cut last very good though, kinda a big trans.

I've got a SBF C6 core that would probably be a better fit.

That should be a ZF S5-42 trans with 5.72 first gear. To each their own, but why do you want such a tall first gear in your cutlass?

I've got a ready to run c6 but I'm probably a bit of a drive away. Possibly have the flex plate too. (Good fluid was in it and drove it, shifted clean, sure would be worth putting a kit in if you have ponies though)

I'm looking around trying different stuff plus kinda on a budget and it sounds cool 85 cutlass with a 94 mustang gt 5.0 and a zf s5 42 with 3.72 rear end
