Can anyone tell me how to fix my zipper on my upper door skin? It will not close the window and gets stuck in either direction. Any Ideas for fixing or replacing the zipper would be helpful, anything is cheaper than replacing the whole skin.

Thanks

Brian

Brian,
If the zipper is shot run it over to Austin Tarp off the Graham St exit of 85......they can replace it for you pretty cheap...

Before you go anywhere to have it fixed get a little house hold oil (One Drop). Get a pair of pliers and pinch the zipper. I don't mean crush the zipper either barely squeeze it. After you have finished put one drop of oil on it and you should be good to go. If it won't move at all now add the oil first and get it to the starting point then use the pliers. I done this before many times and it's worked.

Austin Tarps said they did not fix zippers anymore, so I had to try the oil and pliers again (didn't work the first time.) Once I figured out exactly where to pinch the zipper, it worked great. Thanks for the suggestions. :driver:
