Does Kaufman make loadtrail? Picked up a new 22’ for work a few weeks back looks identical down to the spare tire mount.

What I mean by that is....imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If Kaufman doesn't make Load Trail, they just made a similar looking trailer because they saw that they sell and apparently work well.

There's no John Fullerly at work here!

I believe Load Trail is made in Texas as is P.J. Only thing that drawed me to Kaufman over all others was the fact they are based here in North Carolina. When comparing trailer size/price,it's oranges to oranges and they are all pretty much the same in design, weight, etc . Kraftsman never answered my email and I couldn't get by there when they were open so can't say for them. Received an email from the salesman last week asking me how things were going with the trailer and if I had any concerns or questions.

I like that trailer!. 7k version? deluxe? Any idea on the weight of it?

NC has quite a few trailer manufacturers. I was surprised when I started looking. Kraftsman, Kaufman, Hudson, EZ Load, Butler, and Rampart...just to name a handful of them.

So, along with like 80% of the boats, NC makes a crap load of trailers too!

yes,7000 lb gvwr, twin braking axles with break away box. The way this worked out, I checked on the 17 footer but for 100 dollars more, you can get an 18 footer...then the metal deck was 200 more than wood and only added 100 more pounds to the weight of the trailer.I didn't opt for the deluxe. I was prepared for bias tires but The tires are radial and had to pay extra for de spare. If you pay cash, they knock off X percent vs paying on a card or finance. This was also a "stock" trailer off the yard with no added options.
