I recently bought a new trailer. I bought one spare with it. I found three good tires, no wheels, to use for spares. I know what a new wheel will cost me, but wondering if there is a factory wheel off of something that would work also. Maybe I can pick some of them up. It's an 8 lug, and I am assuming, 8 on 6.5 pattern. Not sure of back spacing. But it's a narrow wheel, maybe 6"?? on a 7K axle

Thanks in advance

Can I ask why not just get an extra new trailer wheel? Last time I bought trailer wheels (granted these were 15" 6 lug) I think I paid $26 per wheel. I believe a 8 lug 16" silver mod wheel is still under $40 new. No worrying about offset or weight rating etc.

Agree with @NC-V I just bought a spare 8 lug silver rim for my stock trailer a month ago at the local trailer supply shop and it was under $40 out the door. If you have time to wait you could save a couple $’s and find one online at amazon or etrailer I suppose.

Amazon. $80. new tire and wheel.

I have three good tires for spares, just seeing if I could save a nickle or two. Found the wheels for $43, free shipping

I think I have one or two at the house, if you can figure out how to get them from Raleigh.

If I had to use any factory rim, it'd probably be an aluminum PYO rim off of a 2500HD. Forged aluminum is where it's at. So long as it'll fit over the hub.

Backset is different on a GM 2500 stock steel wheel. I used them on my trailer with a spacer. I tried to use GM alloys but trailer studs are smaller diameter and to short

I sent Yager west with three old steel trailer wheels.
