I'm not sure what was going on before that? Was that guy trying to break up a fight and those hood rat bitch bucked up on him?
 
watched it with sound off at work. I'm off the mindset that its never ok to hit a woman, thats how I was raised.That being said, the girl came at him with her fists up and he obliged. Dude shouldn't have intervened in the fight beforehand and this wouldn't have happened.

He should have walked away. I would really like to see the minutes of video leading up to what happened though.

From what I have heard/understand:
Dude walked out of the mall and encountered the group of teens harassing another teen. On other video he is seen yelling to "Cut it out". Then you see what is in the linked video.
Word on the street is the group was asked to leave the mall for harassing other patrons. But that is just hearsay.
No parental supervision present for the teens in question. Mall policy supposedly is teens under xx age must be accompanied by adult/parent.

Topic of local discussion is stand your ground vs reasonable force. Also in question is did she assault him first by pushing him in the back.

This will be a total poo show for sure.

Since I’m a believer in the reap what you sow she deserved it. I don’t believe in hitting a woman or a kid until they cross that line and threaten our get physical with the other side. The Asheville mall has been plagued for years with this kind of hood rat shit. I stopped going about 15 years ago due to the little gang banger wanna be’s. I end up there every couple of months for work and see the same shit going on pretty regularly. She deserved it and probably learned a life lesson.
 
He's lucky they didn't try to claim sexual assault for the first push to the chesticle area.

Self preservation is the rule. She isn't physically capable of harming him so he has no grounds for defending himself.

Whether she deserved to get punched is a fully different question...

That’s the dumbest shit I’ve heard today. If you believe that since she’s a minor and of small stature you are wrong, tell that to the people that are getting stabbed, shot, and assaulted daily by this age group in the neighborhoods around Asheville.
 
I was raised to never hit a woman, but I have a feeling those hood rats would have tried to jump him if he didn’t give that chick a dirt nap. They were all out there hyping it up, when really the cops should have been called and escorted them off the property if they were causing a disturbance. But shout, shove, and then punch is technically escalation of force... they kept coming back, and shoved him a few times it seems. How can that not be considered self defense? Obviously he’s of larger statue, but there were a bunch of them..... well minus that one, lol.
