man, Im all but pacing the floors.
got a bow this year, have only gun hunted so Im ready for something new.:huggy:
 
I had 2 does 10' off my front porch yesterday evening. My mouth was watering, I hope its not going to be that easy. Setting stands tommorrow.
 
protein feeders/ apples go up Aug 1, 35% scatter feeding to get them accustomed to the sound/smell/location. I count 6-8 every night and the dominant doe is going to be the first one dropped on opening day. She will bust me at the worst time later in the season if i dont get her quick.
 
I live right in the middle of town and have seen two large does walking through my woods. I don't hunt so they are safe for now...
 
I've been up to the hunting land in WV twice scouting and getting things ready. Going back up this weekend to work on our main gate and put trail cams back out. Hope to see Ol'Droptine again this year and maybe get a kill. Last year he was a 12 with a drop tine about 7-8 inches.

There's only about 2500 acres of the land I can hunt. We rode around on a side by side 6 hours and only covered half the land 1st trip up.
 
im dying for it to come in. my social life ends on Sept 11 and will resume at the end of Jan when duck season goes out.
 
we should get together and start a nc4x4 hunt club there are a lot of people on here that need land and we could get together and start a club
 
i still have tendorloin from this past year but ready to hit the woods again saw 3 doe yesterday
 
not mine, but was killed in the princeton/rosewood area yesterday morning.

well, i already started, the dodge caught one last month at 70, a little 4 pointer, and all it did was bend the bumper a little bit. only in a ram. also, ranch hand on order. the deer didnt fair too well...
