Lately it seems we have had a lot of new folks, at least those introducing themselves.
Welcome guys! I don't mean this in any bad way, it's fabulous.

I'm just kind of curious if anybody else has noticed that it seems to have really increased lately - or is this just my imagination?
If Inot just me - then any ideas on any particular reason for it?
Word of mouth spreading like wildfire? The new Nc4x4 stickers? Google getting better?
How did you more recent folks find us?

I just find this kind of random sociological stuff interesting. Yes, i AM a geek.
 
I've definitely noticed it...

not sure if there are more than normal...but they are posting "new here" posts a lot more often...maybe it was one brave soul, and the rest saw it and figured it was standard operating procedure...

I just signed up and the reason is I have been around this site for a while just lurking. I have bought several things off of here and decided to get in on the other side of it.

While i've been here a while, I was doing a google search and this site came up.
 
The introduction posts are likely because the new board software prompts new users to introduce themselves.

We're averaging about 150 new users per month.

Holy crap.

I figured of you gusy w/ access to stats would be able to tell if there was a "real" spike. But the auto-prompt could surely be a good explanation.
 
Don't remember how I found it to be honest, been here so long, helped carry some of the brick to build it LOL

interesting...

obviously something they can skip by, though...

how does it actually prompt them? opening up a new topic in GCC? a pop-up window that just encourages them to do so? something else?

hhmm, I think I came here when a friend was telling me about this site, he said it sucked, so I knew there was one place I could go to get away from him :D I stayed b/c I knew cam from another board and it makes a differnce when you acutelly know someone.
now.. no clue what cam is doing, the cracker stopped wheeling
but you guys are stuck with me.. :flipoff2:

RenegadeT (coworker and fourwheeling buddy) told me about this site probably close to 4 yrs ago.

I found this site several years ago when I saw Josh's (hardtaco) truck exiting the Wendy's on Western Blvd. It looked like a well set up truck and had the infamous NC4X4.COM sticker on the back along with a RnRFAB one
 
I've got Yager to blame for this..........
