What have you done to your rig today?

Got my Barnes xj 3 link with skid to work around the atlas 4 speed. Finagling..

Close to full bump.

Installed the Black Market Perf. Grid heater delete on the wife’s truck. That’s a damn job! Hardest part was getting the injector lines broke loose and then back tight again. Overall very impressed with the quality of parts. Also kinda disappointed the grid heater bolt wasn’t hanging by a thread or something lol

Edit to add: this truck was deleted when I bought it with 93,xxx miles on the clock. It has 343,542 when this was done today. It amazes me how much soot was in the intake horn where the old EGR hooked up, the intake plenum, and bottom of the intake plenum plate. Did the best I could to wire brush and shop-vac it all out.

That's cool! I do watch Dave's Auto and they have many vids about the Cummins issues and the issue is so damn simple but it requires this to fix it! Looks good Kris, great work!

Thanks Buddy! Wife and I were talking tonight on the way to get tacos, if you really think about how many 6.7 Cummings are actually out there (2007.5- 2024 when the changed the heater design) it’s probably like winning the lottery (in reverse) to have a failure of the heater bolt. HOWEVER, I’ve never won the lottery (like the real one with money and shit) cause I have shit luck like that so….. we prevented a weak point today.

I ordered my grid heater delete months ago and still haven’t done it. I think I’m to nervous to rip apart my daily lol

Finished the diy booty fab ( not really booty fab ) fix on the pedal bracket and got it back in ...
Now the fun part. I have all that working enough to realize the clutch is wore out.

Apparently the original issue cascade into the other stuff or a whole lot of stuff broke at once.

New head lights and putting together the rock sliders. Getting this thang ready for the get together.
