Would like to switch to an in tank pump for the Holley sniper 2 in my CJ. I've got the RCI 15 gallon fuel cell. Anyone know of a drop in fuel pump for this tank? Seems like it would be easy to find but no luck yet....

It's a pretty standard pattern, 12 bolts on a 5 and 3/8" circle...

Heck, looks like either of those Holley sniper pumps on @paradisePWoffrd's link ought to bolt right in, and they cost less than a TJ pump.

Figure out what lph you need and get a pump!

One issue I've found is the majority of hangers are well short of the RCIs depth and didn't want an intank pump dangling...

Yup, I am going to have to extend mine to reach the bottom of the tank. Just a simple bracket and some hose though,

Thanks for all the replies. Ordered a random assortment of stuff, including a spare pump and a few sizes of submersible efi fuel line.

The inline pump whine and sounds of cavitation is unnerving. Considering I've lost two already, the constant racket lowers the "I'm going to make it up this waterfall" confidence ratio. Hopefully the in tank mod will create all new levels of "hey y'all watch this" in the old CJ

I put one of these in my 15 gallon rci tank probably 12-14 years ago and it’s still working good.

Assume you moved it elsewhere on the cell (and it didn't replace the stock filler flange)?

Been so long ago I forgot I ordered the tank semi custom direct from rci. This is when they had problems with them cracking and I called for them to beef up the welds. My fill was in the corner of the tank. I wasn’t thinking about the fill on most tanks being right in the center when I made my suggestion.

Here's how I converted mine to in tank. Back in 2019 and still going strong.
