with a name like that I would want to change it too
Also... I have known of only one couple to do this, that was because the women was the last of her family name... she wanted a little boy to carry on her name so her hubby changed his name

When my brother got married they decided to both hyphenate their names...Was simple for her...but the State of NC just does not get the concept of a man changing his name...2 times the paperwork, 3 times the hassle.
