01 Cherokee xj, No Bus

the gauges arnt working in the cherokee, all it says is no bus, removed the dash and cleaned the connectors and cleaned the connectors under the hood, anyone had this happen to em before?

have you checked all the fuses?
does the dome light work?

dome light does work. but i got the headliner out of it right now. ill check the fuses in a bit. only problem with it not being a fuse is all the gauges work for a 10 seconds or so then quit working. My wrangler does it but

after you check the fuses, check all the grounds.(esp the group on the block)
if all that seems good, the best thing to do is get it somewhere that has a scanner that can read all the modules(not advance)
