Are there any differences between front end parts besides the hubs? I'm wanting to convert my single wheel to a dual wheel. What all year will interchange with my 01 dodge? Anyone know any good junk yards to that would have a set?

anyone know?

I don't know the answer but this has been discussed extensively on the DTR board. I'm betting the cons outweigh the pros for you and this is something you really don't want to waste your time or money on. Just an honest friends .02:beer:

On the DTR board they were talking about the overall cost and look. I'm going to be doing a flat bed so the rear fenders won't be an issue. The 4wd trucks had heavier front springs but mine is 2wd so I don't know what would be different.

Front wheel spacers...stock or aftermarket...
Rear dual wheels will fit on single rear wheel axles...might want to get longer studs though
Couple of bushwacker flares for the rear...
Don't worry bout the springs just get an airbag kit...

At least that's what I was gonna do...

so the factory spacers will bolt up? Do I need the whole spindle or just to dun drw studs through rotor and hub like on my drw chvy dana 60?

IIRC, once the brakes are off, there's no difference in a 2500 to 3500 front axle. Not sure about the rear axle width, though. all 3500's got the Dana 80.

The 8-hole '01-02 wheels have more backspacing than the earlier 4-hole wheels, and allow you to run wider than 235 tires without rubbing each other.

Wanna just trade your 2500 for a 3500, and make it much easier on you? Been sort of wishin I got a SRW ever since I got mine cause the dang dually wheels are expensive if you wanna lift and go big which I am definitely trying to do

IDK, just an idea, there would be alot of deciding factors If I did do it but I'd be mildly interested if you are too.

If nothing else I'd be willing to trade you my stock dually adapters off the front of mine for some 16.5x10ish 8 on 6.5 rims if you can come up with some

Yea my truck is a 2wd.
