Does anyone have any first hand knowledge on using injectors from amazon. I have a 01 xj that my son and i are putting back on the road for his first vehicle. I've owned it for 16yr it hasn't been running in 8 years. We pulled the fuel tank tossed the fuel pump have new 1, cleaned the tank and blew out the fuel line. Judging by the sludge in the tank figured the fuel rail would need a cleaning so pulled it and we have 3 injectors that have a crack down the main plastic of the injector. I was trying to keep initial costs down for now, as we still need new tires, shocks , a few rusty brake lines, a couple minor floor pan holes to repair etc .

Yeah no name i didn't know if anyone had any bad experience or issue running them or just a good brand in general that wont break the bank. Kinda looking at it like the more i can save on part xyz the more we will have on other part xyz. There are sets of 6 on amazon for 40-80 bucks. The jeep ran when parked just life happened and wheeling went to the way side, would it best to replace all or just the ones that have a crack going down them. I would like to make sure it runs before dropping 300ish on "brand" injectors. Engine bars over etc. Also is there a offroad place that sells tires like 4wd hardware used to a little shocking to me to find they shut down, i used to buy tires from them or a local shop when they would run the buy 3 get 1 free both of them are shut down now.

I have gotten from egay with good results probably the same as amazon.

I bought mine from New England Injectors on ebay 6-7 years ago. 12 hole upgrade; zero issues and runs much smoother at idle and low rpm. I recommend!

Hell yeah Thanks man that's what i wanted to hear going to order them this evening. That was something else i was waffling about was 12 hole or not. Also does anyone know where i could get dash plastic Its a 2001 cherokee sport if that matters i haven't really looked online yet more concerned with mechanical as of now.

Just take your time with install, clean fuel rail and bores where injectors go in well. Keep everything clean and use oring grease (silicone grease) on your orings; it isn't a bad job.

Someone will chime in, but if you go with 12hole injectors, I think you will need EV6 to EV1 plug adapters. If you upgrade to 4 hole (often called Neon injectors) you will not need those adapters.

I have run both, and I see a huge change in the butt dyno or the mpg, but the engine did feel a bit faster to respond and had a slightly smoother idle.

All the injectors I have used came from Ebay, you can also clean your injectors with a battery and a can of brake kleen (youtube is a wash with examples).
