New member here....

So I just picked up this 2001 Wrangler Sport 4.0 l. Thing is in pretty good shape except it doesn't have any of the stock fenders.

Here is a summary:

Dana 30 Front Axle and Dana 44 Rear (Both regeared to 4.10)
2.5" Old Man Emu Lift kit
Rokmen Adjustable Lower Control Arms (front)
Rokmen Adjustable Upper Control Arms (rear)
JKS 1.25" Body Lift
Currie Currectlynk Steering System
Currie Front Track Bar
Advance Adapters Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit
Custom Rear CV Driveshaft
Remanufactured Dodge Durango Steering Box Conversion
New 1310 U-Joints in front axle and driveshaft

I think my first purchase needs to be fixing this fender problem. I have been looking at the Poison Spyder Defenders with the 3" flare. However, these are not a full replacnement and do not have an inner fender. I'm wondering what would be better, the Defenders, or a full replacement like TNT customs or Metalcloak.

I'm not brand new to jeeps but I'm brand new to any sort modifications. Are the fenders a good choice for the first upgrade or should I focus on something else?

Are you concerned with looks or offroad function?
Im a big Poison Spyder fan, that's pretty much all we run here so Id say run the defenders plus I can get you a deal.
As far as upgrades go you might want to consider a locker or two for offroad use. Also a belly up skid might be a nice addition.
Post up a couple pictures.

I guess I am concerned with a little bit of both. I have never wheeled much before and had planned on taking it down to Uwharrie. The previous owner use to wheel it down there alot. Nothing too crazy though because this is my DD and with two jobs and 350 miles + a week I would be lost without a vehicle for any extended amount of time. I love the way the defenders look and really like the their corner armer with the flares welded on as well. My question about the defenders is what else would I need to get? Considering the defenders are not a full replacement I was wondering what kind of other hardware I would need to put them on.

What kind of deal are you talkin for the fenders? PM me?

As far as lockers and a tummy tuck / skid plate.... everything in moderation haha!

From what I can tell in the picture you shouldn't need anything out. Really the only thing it uses from the factory fenders is mounting surface for the hood latch, but since you already have that it I think you could do without it. All hardware is included for mounting. Ill send you a PM
I think the rear locker would be a nice addition whenever you get to that point. I can discuss that as well with you. You have a solid starting point, the PO covered the bases pretty well with modify the areas that need it.
