I've run across one of these in quad cab 4ed auto 140k miles. I read good and some bad on these. What do you guys think?

dont know anything about these but I do know that its predecessor was BOMB PROOF. I had a 99 Dakota with a 318 and 5 speed that was an outstanding truck. Just not big enough for my hauling needs. If the engine management systems are at all similar, it should be good to go.

Great motor till the oil pump takes a crap. You have tear the front of the engine down to replace it.

Is there any kind of symptoms Id look for? Anything to avoid?

What would a 02 quad cab 4x4 sale for in pretty good condition? Only issues is a crack in the dash paint is good interior is good. Guy wants to trade for my cobra and at this point Id like to get cash. So if I could move the truck easier Id trade
