03 Tahoe window switch

Some of the electrical functions from the driver side door on my Tahoe don’t quite function correctly. The switch to adjust the power mirrors will randomly fold the passenger side one in but not adjust it, sporadically moves the driver side mirror with no rhyme or reason. The heated seats switch cuts on then after a few seconds cuts off. Passenger side heated seat switch does same, cuts on a few seconds then cuts off.

I pulled the door panel and none of the wires look damaged or anything. The heated seat switch plugs into the main block with the PDL and PW switches, could the problem be in that main switch box thing??

Might also be worth mentioning, one of these side mirrors has been replaced previously, I’m not sure which one, but passenger has signal in the mirror while driver doesn’t…..it’s an 03 LT model

The heated seats cutting off is usually a broken circuit in the heating element in the seat. Theseatshop.com sells replacement heaters.

The drivers side multifunction switch is susceptible to shock damage as it is the one that fears slammed the most closing the door. May have just gone wonky.

Seat heaters are more than likely bad. I'm sure if you check the resistance in them they will be out of spec. You'll be able to tell where it went bad when you go to change it. Just went through this with my 04 truck. As mentioned, seat shop sells them. I did all the covers and heater elements at the same time. They are very nice quality but a pain to put on. Even the OE replacements were but these slightly more due to not having any holes for seatbelts etc.
The window switch as mentioned above is susceptible to not only the slamming but think about every time you have to roll the window down in the rain at a drive through etc... The water drips directly into the switch. You can try spraying with contact cleaner to try to make it better, or bite the bullet and buy a new one.
I would guess if it's the higher optioned model and has the power fold mirrors, the one with the signal light in it is fac-tree and they didn't want to spend the money on a replacement glass with the light and heater in it.

Thanks for the responses, I’m gonna hold off and mess with the heated seats later since we aren’t gonna be needing them anymore I don’t believe. I’ll look for a proper driver side mirror and check the contacts on that switch as well. If I still have issues I’ll get a switch cus it sucks adjusting the mirrors manually like I’m back in the late 80’s
