05 rubicon rear locker flashing

When I hit the easy button on my rig the rear locker just flashes. I THINK its still engaging but havent done a pavement test to see if it lurches around. I crawled under it and found a wire that goes into the rear dif is broken off right at the conenctor. I assume this is just the sensor that tells you its locked but IDK for sure. given the wore is broken off at the plug I need to replace the whole plug or hardware it. Can I get just a plug or should I even bother and just tie it together and heatshrink it?
 
You probably caught it on a piece of brush or somethin, it is just a sensor and the locker is probably working. You need to fix the wire , just solder and shrink it.
