06 TJ Rubicon CEL

Have a 06 TJ Rubicon 4.0L 6 speed 40k miles. While driving this evening the CEL came on and won't go off. Stopped at the parts store and their code reader says small evap leak. Any ideas on where to start?

Inspect all of your rubber Evap hoses for small cracks. A gas cap that no longer seals well can cause it but typically it is a hose leak.

When you find it, let me know. My '04 has had the same code intermittently for a while now. Replaced cap and inspected but don't see any issues.

Seems my problem was the gas cap. Swapped it out and so far so good.
