'07 durango engine codes

Anyone know the ignition on off combo to get the engine code to come up on the odometer?

I did on off 3 times and it brings up -------- but no code.

I've read a million diffferent options for Mopar. but nothing I've tried yet works.

I'd like to try to get the code myself before paying someone to plug in.

of course this happens while on a road trip down in Florida. :rolleyes:

Everything runs fine no issues that I can see other than the dash light.
 
Stooopid Gas Cap!

Adv Auto guy through the scanner on it, and cleared it for me. guess I need to grab a new gasket of cap.

at least it was a free diagnosis. thanks for the Parts store tip. :beer:
 
If you fill up the tank with the engine running it can cause the gas cap code.
 
Evap gross leak (no flow), 9 out of 10 times that will be the problem. I always wondered if that sign on the gas cap about clicking when putting the gas cap back on was there for a reason.
