'08 JK T-case linkage bushings

Anyone have issues with the T-case cable linkage bushing popping out and loosing them? Any better fix for them than replacement? A buddy of mine lost them on both ends of his cable.
 
It's a very common issue for some. It really is a pretty shitty design. I actually carry two of the bushings with me in the Jeep at all times. Knock on wood though I've got 73K on mine and never had a problem. There are a bunch of different ways to fix it. One of which is to use Advance Adapters cables, this is the most expensive though.

Yep! I carry a few bushings with me all the time. I had it happen once and it was a bit of a PITA to take everything off to pop it back into gear.
