Anybody know where I can find a decent set really just need an h8 but need one that last more than a couple days. Been buying the Chinese sets from agrisupply they just don’t hold up. Really would like to go find what I need tomorrow since it’s going to rain.

$13 from McMaster (single piece) and it will probably be Proto brand. If you had ordered it earlier this afternoon, it would be arriving tomorrow most likely.

You might be able to find an acceptable quality Kobalt piece at Lowe's, but I'm stressing "acceptable" and not "good" when it comes to Kobalt. Probably a decent step up from whatever China crap you already alluded to.

If you have a well-stocked NAPA, that's a good place to try too.

Advance sells a half inch drive set. They did anyway before changing over from gear wrench to teq. Most the teq stuff seems comparable to gear wrench stuff.

Might check that out since theres 1 right down the road here

Harbor freight has good impact stuff. I have a set of 1/2 impact allens. Good quality for the cost.

That’s it h=hex t=torx and king tony is the Chinese brand to steer clear of

These are hose couplers that use the bit

I got a set of multi bits, from Huskey. [Home Depot] Their 3/8 drive. I was using a torx when I re-decked my auto trailer. Broke a blade off one, but HD replaced it under Lifetime warranty. I was really abusing it, with a 1/2 impact! They sell separate bits too.

These are at my home shop but at work virtually every fastener from 10-32 to 1"-14 is a socket head cap screw. We have every brand impact Allen there is. The two piece versions always-always break or fall apart and never work as well on an impact as the one piece versions. So anyway my choice is honestly these Pittsburghs from hf.
If it's something smaller I've got a set of wera Allen wrenches and a breaker bar that I use first, then the impact.

@braxton357. I have the same and used many a variable torq multiplier on the end!
What brand socket rails are those? Quality? Purchase location? My plant maintenance job keeps me all over the place. My box needs these bad.
