yet another newb question.
Im looking some wheels and tires and they are 32bolt mrt beadlocks with 2in. backspacing. they will be going on a toy truck that already has 1.5 wheel spacers on the front to match the ifs rear. I have seen that 2in. backspaced wheels can be bad for wheel bearings, and i take it that with the 1.5" spacers, it would only be worse.

is this true? the truck will be driven on the highway to URE and back.
should i get wheels with more backspacing to be safe?

thanks

Been running 2" spacers for years, no problems so far, but it's pretty much a trail only rig, occasional trips to parts store, grocery or church.

that's an effective .5" backspacing... you're gona have a helluva time turning, and the scrub radius will be insane.. Not to mention the wear on everything up there...

Toyota front wheel bearings are really big so I don't think you'll beat up on those too bad, but the trunion bearings will be screaming too, along with everything else.

I'd say hold out for a set of normal-backspacing wheels.
