Yeah man you really do need to make it out, this one should be a good one...

Talked to Comer (Co-Owner of the Shop) the other day, there are alot of customer cars parked outside the shop currently, also 4 Lifted XJ's and a few DD's... Probably have to move the majority of those around back for the meet, but maybe not. The truck shop in the same lot is closed on the weekends so we can use the entire lot.

Not likely, the guy with the RTI ramp hasn't shown any interest lately... If the meet at the shop goes well someone at the shop will make one though. Until then, gravel piles, tire climbin, etc...

This will be the test run at the shop though, if the turnout isn't good we probably will move it elsewhere next time.

hey since we are going to be hanging out a while at the shop y'all might want to bring a folding chair

Thinking we could use a couple folding tables for the food also? Who has em?
 
so my room mates (aka mom and dad) have laid down the law and decided my parts truck has to be gone this weekend so if i make it itll be brief..but if i can come out it will be with banjo in hand..hoefully this project wont be too much of a pita..

I will talk to Jon or Comer today about it, Im pretty sure someone has a bunch of tables, just can't remember who, probably Jason.

Chairs are definately a good idea... I think the shop has 10 chairs... 5 office chairs, 3 roll stools, 2 highback desk chairs.

Talked to 77greenmachine, there have been some issues that would prevent him from coming out, but seems everything is getting better so he will be making it out with a few extras.
 
Well, talked my dad and brothers in to going deep sea fishing the 23rd instead. So I'll be there.

Pits again the coming sunday? I have a couple people interested in riding down there.

You can do what I did with my alternator, diassemble it and clean all the dirt and crap out of it. If I had a vice I'd do it for ya. Just makes it a lot easier. Mine went from not registering on the gauge to better than before.

I got 2 folding chairs I'd be happy to be bring anything thinks we may need them.

Thats great, I don't know about the pits. I haven't had time to clean off the jeep or anything. I know there are a few things that need done before I go wheeling again.

Tighten pinion nut on front end, its backin off, prolly get Jon to throw a tac or 2 on to hold it in place lol because its been tightened and keeps backing off.
Find out what the hell happened to my power steerin, steering right now is like manual steerin and its whinin like hell.
Get my Battery back in (not sure if its in Jasons jeep or my brothers)

Might try to borrow the go cart and take that instead lol... Go cart would be alot more fun I think at the mud pits. Jason and Tim know what Im talking about.

Hey I'll be more than glad to do it for you if jon will let us, bring it with you. Just takes a few sockets and precise hammering. Seriously tho, pull it off and bring it, maybe pick up a can of electronics cleaner. I'll bring some purple power and as long as we got a sink we'll be set.
 
Probably count Ben in, aint talked to him yet but he'll probably come out. And Alex will there the full time also. The motor swap plan is changin slighty.

Jasons XJ never made it home, its parked beside mine at the shop Lol, so its handy whenever, he just needs to pull it whenever he gets there.

Thats cool, whats the plan for the swap now?

You figure I should let Corey know about the meet, hes been talking about his truck for a while but you know how that is.
 
Well now I'm not sure if I'll be able to make this one. My Jeep is in the shop and I'm not too sure when I'll be getting it back.
After the last URE run with John, I've had my ABS, ESP, and ESP BAS lights on my dash. Took it into the shop yesterday and they had to keep it overnight to assess the problem. No word yet on it's condition.

But I highly doubt it will still be there by 4pm Saturday. I'll post back once I know if I'll be coming.

I would say its most likely because your steering wheel wasnt straight, which can be fixed in 5 minutes by adjusting the draglink. What dealer you take yours to? North Point?

Yea, I took it to North Point. They know my family well since we have bought about 5 cars from them.
Now, they're beginning to get to know me just as well since I'm in there for repairs every once and a while.

Pullin the motor outta the donor truck sat the droppin the motor off a my mom's to let me mess with it for a week then droppin in his truck next weekend at my mom's while the folks are outta town. I'll give corey a call and let him know about the meet.
 
looks like im goin to make it guys, and even my buddy that was air lifted out of URE last weekend may come. he's walking, but with a cane now, lol.
at this point i have a strong 4 with me. possibly more.
 
Thats cool, I need a final count from everyone as soon as possible, so we know how much food to buy. If you are going to bring people with you let me know.

Last meet we had alot of folks come out who had not said anything and I would hate to run out of food. I count 12-15 off here not including the people who will already be at the shop, a few from Cherokee Forum, and possibly a few that I haven't got for sure answers from that I know from elsewhere.

Final count by the end of tonight would be good, anything after that might complicate things. Thanks.
 
I'm there, Loosing interest in the recent gf/buddy whatever. So I doubt I'll bring her.
 
Got word that the Jeep will be ready in time.
Count me in :huggy:

Edit: Anyone going early? I'd be happy to come a little early. If there's anything that needs to be done before everyone gets there I'd be glad to help.
 
I'll probably show up early if its cool, work on that alternator for blackXJ. I got maybe 5-6 folding chairs to bring.
