10 bolt axles

i got some 10 bolt axles out of a K-5 and i was wondering if a rear locker would fit in the front axle or if my only option is welding gears. i dont know much about these axles and would prichate any help.

depending on what size tires you are going to run. You could put a lock rite in them. If you run any thing bigger than a 37-38 inch tire I would leave it open in the front. C. Perry has some very good prices on the Lock rite's.

I am running a lock rite in my 10 bolt with 37s and have had no trouble.

Yeah what they said .I have a welded 10b and popped a 30 spline with 35 's.And the steering sucks.

yes, as long as the spline count is the same. Detroit tru-trac limited slip is the only exception i can think of. It is gear driven and they actually sell a front and a rear unit.
