12 bolt rearend swap

I am swaping out my 10 bolt govloc rear with 3:08 gear for a 12 bolt posi with 3:73 gears in my 86 K5. I am wanting to know if anybody can tell me if the yoke from the 10 bolt will fit the 12 bolt so I want have to change the driveshaft. The 10 bolt is bigger. Also will the emergency brake cables interchange. I am new to this so any advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian W.

The yokes are not the same, use an adapter ujoint that goes from the 10 bolt inside clip, to the 12 bolt outside clip.
The driveshaft will be fine.
And for the brake cables, when you remove the 10 bolt, pull the c-clips, and axles from the 10 bolt, then remove the 4 bolts from each brake backing plate and hang them up with a wire or something. Before you install the 12 bolt, do the same thing, remove the axles, and backing plates. The 10 bolt plates you have hanging will bolt onto your 12 bolt, and you will have the same brake setup you had.
