12 Days of NC4x4 - This time is different

@trailhugger this is my second post in this thread, so not an entry, but I just feel compelled to offer some food for thought.

I think Samaritan’s Purse is awesome and doing an excellent job, but they also have more funding than anyone else, and a couple hundred bucks from NC4x4 is not even a drop in the bucket. Many of the other organizations are operating on shoestring budgets and a few hundred bucks goes a long way. I took the time to put together that list so that people can be aware of what some of the other options are. And I think Samaritan’s Purse is a great one to choose but don’t overlook the others, as the size of donations we are doing might have a greater impact.

That’s a good thought. I was also thinking about our friend up in Swannanoa that was living in VA housing and literally lost everything. Would love to give to him if that’s allowed.
