Background info - 4500 lb TJ with 6.0, 4l80, 32 spline 205 (input and both outputs) with a van width new casting 14 bolt. Rear driveshaft is 1350 CV, 5/16" wall chromoly 3" OD. Right now I have a 1350 Spicer at the axle end on the rear. I also have a spare 1410 yoke for the 14 bolt laying around and approaching time to do a gear swap, I was wondering if switching to the 1410 yoke and running a 1350/1410 conversion joint is worth doing. I'm trying to gain every ounce of strength I can. Is the 1350/1410 conversion joint really that much stronger than a 1350?

It will only be as strong as the smallest side.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks. Saved me $25.
