I'm finishing up my axle & gotta question. When tightening my spindle nut's how much play should the hub have (reason I ask, my torque wrench may be out of spec). If I torque down to 60 ftlbs (remember may wrench may be out of spec) I'll have to turn nut about 1/2" to get it so the key way lines up. Then the hub is hard to spin. If I line up the key way prior to the one I just mentioned hub spins easier still tight feeling thou. These are new bearings by the way. I don't want to over torque them and have them go bad prematurely. Help is much appreciated with this matter.

I adjust mine like I do on the 60 front. Torque the nut to 50-60 ft/lbs while turning the hub by hand to seat the bearings then back off the nut 1/4 turn (90 degrees), then tighten the nut to the next available keyway and install the key.
