Anybody have them locally?
I can do the fabrication; I'm just looking for a reasonably priced diff cap & cover cap. I like the TMR '15 bolt conversion kit', but figured I'd support a NC vendor if possible.

TIA,
Brandon

I have the Barnes one on my cab truck, but i went with the ballistic fab one on my buggy for a touch more clearance, they both are beef. just realized that was a pretty useless post haha!! no i dont know of any local weld on bottom type shave kits

scared to death!!!!!

I thought about cutting the lip off and grinding everything smooth, but I figured for not a lot more work I could gain another inch of clearance by cutting the whole bottom off. I'll be running 37" military take-offs, so every little bit helps!

yeah that was my thoughts on the buggy, i smoothed out my trucks housinh and it turned out really nice but i love the flat plate on the buggy for just a little more clearance

scared to death!!!!!

My .02...

I like the Barnes Unit...and the style of shave that uses this cover.

I have done the 13 bolt shave to mine, and just trimmed the cover I already had. I believe that shaving the lip off is all you need to do. (The diff slides over stuff pretty well without that lip!)
I felt that I needed to concern myself with other things more than getting another 1/2" of diff clearance!

Especially considering the additional cost of that additional 1/2"!:)

Think I'll just cut/grind everything down as smooth as possible and leave a shave kit as a future upgrade if needed.
