14sf -> 14ff

school me on everything i need to know about this. the ff would be replacing a sf from a 88 3/4ton suburban.
found a deal on a 14ff and i would like to know EVERYTHING that would be needed

The FF axle tubes will be bigger in diameter so you'll have to have the spring plates off the ff 14 bolt and a set of ubolts.The shock mounts might have to be moved and your current driveshaft will probably need shortened a little.I dont know what size U-joint the sf takes but the ff will have a 1350 yoke so you might wind up havin to have a end put on your driveshaft as well.All in all a pretty simple,straight forward swap.
