15" sxs wheels - 4x156

I have a set of 14's regular wheels and tires and a set of 14" beadlocks with nearly new tires, both sets have 29" tires.
 
I don't think you actually have to have DOT tires to pass inspection on a SXS.

That said, I've been back and forth between getting some 4/156 to 5x4.5 adapters OR trying to find some stock Turbo S wheels, which are 15" and 4/156. They're just hard to find.

You don't need them for the initial MVR-59 affidavit, but technically they should be checking for it on your annual inspection. And it's definitely in the law. I'm kind of anticipating that I'll get pulled over and kind of assume that at least some of the cops are going to know to look for it. My NHS tires are already full of plugs. Wasn't really fond of the idea of running them on the road at 55mph.

I've seen a bunch of stock turbo wheels. I didn't even consider adapters....but not sure if I'd want to add that much width, but that may be a good way tgo.


This is mostly me being a cheap ass. There area few sets on ebay that can be had for under $500 delivered. I'm looking for that $200 beat up set! :laughing:

I'm going with 235/75/15 LT mud tires.....like I said, cheap ass. I pretty much all of the DOT 14" utv tires I could find were going to be like $1k. Chinese 235's from ebay were $380. Even if I had to buy new wheels, I'd be ahead, and way ahead after I burn up the first set of tires.
 
my buddy has 6 turbos stock rims with 6 new stock 32 kyoties tires on them not sure they are cheap but they could be had for a good price probly 100 each per rim and tire so 600 for 6

Unfortunately, Polaris 4/156 doesn't share a bolt pattern with ANYTHING else! Well...Kawasaki, but nothing automotive, that I know of.

Just as an update, I found some rims. Luckily, what I was actually looking for too! Some 4/156 in the 17" flavor so I can put some skreet tires on them :D
