15" wheels on a 02 f150????

okay my gf has a 02 f150 that has 16's on it....nebody know if 15's will clear the brakes on these trucks? got her a set of 33x12.50x15 swampers b4 i realized she had 16's....and i have a good hookup on some 15 rims, just need to know if they'll work

dont know if you have already tried this....but most wheel/tire shops should have some knowledge if they would fit or not...if they dont, see if they can at least order them......if they can, you know they "should" fit.

i see your in salisbury, so if you cant find a tire shop to help you, ride down to galloways, find a rim with the right measurements you want, along with lug pattern, and test fit it there in the parking lot. if they fit, go see your hook up on wheels, and order you a set...if not, your not out anything but a 20 minute ride down 52.

Cant believe you found a 8x170mm 15" wheel. Never seen one before which make me think no it will not fit.
 
No 15s will not clear the brakes
and fyi the bolt pattern on a 02 f150 is 5 x 135 not 8x170. Never seen a f150 with 8 lugs

Just my .02 but the car manufactures didn't go to 16" or bigger wheels just because they look good. They have expanded the rotor sizes so big they had to go to 16" or bigger wheels. All the manufacturers are trying to get better breaking so they can haul larger loads. They get the rotors and calipers much bigger all trucks will have to run 20's

So keeping that in mind I doubt 15" wheels will fit!!
 
well damn.....this sucks........ill try it neways and pray...ptherwise i wasted money on tires......and shes gonna be pissed at me haha ill be in the doghouse, neone have a big one with a tv and heat???
 
YOU SURE YOU DIDNT JUST REMOVE THOSE 33'S FROM THE BROWN JUNKER IN YOUR YARD??

ALSO I HEAR THERE IS A SHED YOU CAN LIVE IN UNDETECTED OVER YOUR WAY.
 
haha...nah i picked up som ssr's for her...well 2 of em are my tsl's and 2 are the ssr's......anybody know what size rim these trucks came with stock? cuz hers are aftermarket
