what is better for a 35 12.50 15 a 15x8 inch rim or a 15x10 inch rim. i see people runnin 12.50s on 8 inch all the time but what are the ups an down to both?

you like skinny sucked in look = 8"

you like almost flat sidewall look = 10"

but the more dish the more less backspace. = more stress on front axle bearings = less life span.

i've always thought that running a 12.50 on an 8" rim would help keep from popping beads. but thats really just an opinion.

x2 on the 8"...pull the beads in, less likely to pop, and keep the rim further from the rocks.

X'3 Not to mention, if you run the 10's you're more likely to scrub the rims and bend the lip on the rim.

This is the big advantage, I run 12.5 on 8s and air down to 9 psi with having an issue, Similar set ups in our group run 10s and have issues with air loss from a loose bead while running low psi.

IMO I would run the 8s unless your planing to run a 14+ width on a tire.

Also the 8" are easier to reseat the bead if it does come off.

holy crap batman, i have an opinion someone agrees with??? i will mark this day on my calendar.
