5 Structure fires, 3 condition red
4 medical responder calls
3 electrical incidents
3 down trees
2 fire alarms
1 MVA

5 calls before 4:30 pm, then 10 within two hours, then the 3 between 6 pm and 12 am.

Being a volunteer department with mutual aid responses we did damn good tonight. At one point we had 4 trucks out on 4 different calls in 4 different directions, and were passing mutual aid depts in route to other calls (which REALLY messes up civilians on the road).

I love being a Fire Fighter.

no shit, yall were busy as hell last night, firemain sounded like a circus w/ all yalls traffic :flipoff2:. hope were not in for round two this evening, looks like we could get some more severe t-storms later on.

One of those structure fires was a block over from me (Buffalo Creek), house struck by lightning, pretty much fully involved by the time one of the first units arrived ( wife and kid saw it raging as they pulled in, first units responding right behind her )

Wife said trucks seemed to be coming from about every direction, Saw TVFD, and ALFD, thinks Antioch may have been there, Corith make a showing as well ?

Duane, you full time on ALFD yet ? or made another squad ?

I was at Buffalo Creek on the ALFD truck. Corinth and Antioch were there, Thanksgiving had a bunch of trees down on both sides of the station and couldnt get out.

No, Im not full time yet, but I was on duty part time yesterday, so I made every call but 2 before I got there at 8am.
