I'm wanting to convert my ford over to 19.5s. I was wondering around how much it would cost me to get 4 retread tires for the rear?

you can get wheels that are your stock lug pattern that will take the OTR tires so you don't have to use adapters, but they are spendy.

why would I have to have an adapter for wheels that are the same lug pattern as the truck?

because not all 19.5's have 8 on 6.5 pattern..the majority of them are either wide 6 or 10-lug
